Innovative Physics Projects

On 17th June, We are completing the 1000 Days of Career@Physics. We are organizing various contest as part of celebration. Now we have come with "Innovative Physics Projects".
    We invite Science clubs/Physics clubs or group of students  of colleges situated in India(Except IITs, IISERs, NITs, NISER, IIITs type institutes)  who want to work on their innovative projects, to apply for "Innovative Physics Projects".

What will you get ?
 We will sponsor the 50%  of  actual cost of selected projects(Maximum amount of sponsorship is ₹5000 ). Maximum 3 projects will be selected every year from all over India. 100% sponsorship may be given to projects belong to rural college students.

Who can apply?
Science clubs/Physics club or group of undergraduate students (Graduating in 2016/2017 only)  can apply. There must be 3 physics undergraduate students and one teacher as adviser working on the your proposed projects. One must be club official in the case of science clubs or physics club of college. In the special case, you can have one student from subject other than physics as per the need of your projects.  Students of IITs, IISERs, NITs, NISER, BITs, IISc type institutes cannot apply for this as currently we are aiming for "Non Connected Students of India".  Exceptionally talented students passing Class XII in 2016 can also apply.  Students who are already getting any type of Scholarship/fellowship from any source cannot apply.

How to apply?
Teacher/adviser(club official in the case of clubs) need to send an email to sachin@careeratphysics.in with the  CVs of all the three student members working on projects, detail of  proposed innovative physics projects (300 -1000 words in PDF file).
  Last Date : Applications are open all the time.



Selection Procedure?
An committee of experts will scrutinize the proposed project applications and will select 3 best proposed projects every year. We take maximum of 50 days to analyze and confirm your projects and release the 50% fund in advance directly to your  bank account.
